Common reasons for truss inspections:

· Trusses were damaged, cut or otherwise modified after installation without adequate documentation/approval.
· Trusses need to be stubbed (trimmed) or modified to create a vault/coffer or similar ceiling change for remodel.
· Trusses were damaged by fire or exposed to weather for long periods of time (i.e. more than a few weeks).
· Trusses are sagging or exhibit excessive deflections.
· Floor trusses are bouncy or exhibit excessive vibration.
· Roofing to be replaced with different/heavier material.
